What's the sodium content like?
What's the expiration on these. Also I never used a product like this and sea bed there website , so how do you prepare these to eat. Thanks
I used these rations quite often as they are light weight and very neat to pack. It doesn't produce "messy garbage". Just roll up the package and seal it in a ziplock pack. Very little mess.
They actually taste very good, but they are not very "meat heavy" even if it is a meat dish. While the package said "2 portions", it is really for one person after a day of work. I also find that they like a bit more water than indicated.
To prepare them you add a specified amount of boiling water, and wait a specified amount of time. The instructions come on each bag.
Thanks bud. At first I thought they were like the military MREs
That is why they are much lighter than MRE and you can fly with them. MREs have liquid and are not allowed by commercial airlines.
If you go to places where food is expensive or there is no "camping food" to buy, you can bring all the rations in the backpack and fly with them without shopping at local markets.
