I'm used to carrying my shyt and sleep in it for work (army). All you need is a therm-a-rest mattress, I prefer the eggshell type, a compact sleeping bag and a Bivvy bag. Get a cheap one man tent and jet boil and you're set.

for my back pack hunting, I use a Exped 9 LW (long wide) its a rated for -25 and is 9 cm thick with intergrated hand pump setup.. u get a work out but its light an packs small enough.. the non LW are best if going ultralight. or sea to sumit perhaps.
Then you guys would need and have better sleepin bags than us here, so your opinion there.
I usea 3 season 2 person tent, just to keep the dew off and store all my gear inside aswell.. 2.2kg, I don't backpack in winter, so no need for good design with snow cave in preventatives and such.
Black wolf bag 85ltr gets enough of my gear in it, no convience pockets but it stores my stuff.
not sure what I'm missing..
