Backroad maps shading help

Hey,

I just picked up a copy of the Backroad Maps book for Vancouver and Coastal BC.

I was browsing through it looking for a place to go plinking that's not too far from me, and noticed the different shading of areas.

I looked through the map index but couldn't find an answer.

Can you guys help me out - what's the significance between the red shading, green shading and just regular (yellow) shading?

Oh man, found it. I had overlooked it on the very left side of the page thinking it was advertising.
