Bad day at te RANGE, Help please

First up was the mossberg 535, tried some slugs at the 50 yard range, couldn't hit paper??? Some went to the action range set up at 15 yards and hit about 6 to 7 inch high of what I was aiming at. So went back to 50 yard and aimed at the bottom of the paper and was hitting about 4 inchs north of center. I also went on down to 100 yards and I was hitting the top of the berm. I'm using a 20 inch smoother barrel with an improved cylinder and fiber optic sights...... Any thoughts to help a guy out?

Next is a pre 64 win model 94 30-30 that I picked up a little while back but this is first time shooting it. Shooting at 50 yards again, but for this one I was consistantly hitting 5 to 6 inch to the right. Can I adjust the sights in the win from side to side?

Finally my cheap Tasco scope on my stevens 200 broke as well. Its just the side turet and can be fixed so not so bad. But what a day

Problem #1,
If the rear sight is not adjustable for elevation then you need a taller front blade...
Problem#2,
Yes the both sights(front and rear) on the 94 can be drifted side to side to correct windage...although usually just the rear is adjusted.

The front and rear sights slide left and right in a dovetail. To make it shoot more to the left, move the rear sight to the left. Or move the front sight to the right, or both. Does either one look like it has been moved the wrong way?

To move the sight, support the side of the barrel and use a hammer to tap the sight. Rather than hitting the sight with a hammer, use a softer metal object as a drift. I use a Loonie. For starters, move the sight about 1/32 inch.

Hint: before moving the sight, make a small scratch on the barrel and sight so you have a reference mark to see how much it has been moved.
