Last night I bought a lightly used Hornady LNL AP, with a brand new shellplate and after a couple of hours of setup time began cranking out 9mm rounds. Not a bad press.. But it has yet to beat my time tested Lee because the ejection cycle is awful!!
This press has a serial number in the early 4000's and during the ejection phase relies upon a thick "wire" to nudge the assembled round from the shellplate.
It doesn't work, I tried playing with positioning of this piece but it just binds up.
Any experience, fixes or ideas before I call Hornady?
Cheers,
