Bad federal bulk 223

Id shoot that stuff tbh, its not to bad. Funny how federal blamed someone else when its their label on the box though eh? "yeah we outsourced the manufacturing to save money, that's totally not our fault." Imagine explaining to a client that it was a subcontractors fault.. smh

Outsourced the manufacturing to a plant they are in charge of... Olin-Winchester doesn't take over until October 2020.

here is a couple pics, the vendor went and looked at another box of the same lot and looked good to them, bad days do happen and with the pile of ammo federal makes, it really is a miracle they do not have more of them!

Yeah its also not that hard to NOT make damaged ammo. I don't have a reject bin. I've never come accross so many damaged rounds in my life as you have in that blue bin.

Hard to tell from pictures, but I bet at least half if not 3/4s of those would fire without issue.

Those are hardly anything to be concerned about. Keep in mind you are buying some of the cheapest and crappiest bulk .223 that you can get in this country.

This, is bad. Some of the rejects I mentioned earlier. These ones cannot be fired obviously.

Yeah I bet you most of those would fire just fine as well. ANd with the typical poor accuracy of bulk ammo, I bet youd hardly notice the flyers

Even better lol, "sorry, the guys I hired to do the job didn't do it right so you'll have to take it up with them.. I'm not in charge of anything but cashing cheques."

That ammo wouldn't chamber, it's why it was in a blue bin waiting to be pulled apart. I used to shoot 10 or more cases of this stuff a month for a long time. I really don't recall getting many duds or rounds that wouldn't chamber out of the box. Through pure volume I have collected quite a lot though.

I was also a bit mistaken as most of the damage to that particular ammunition was done by myself while doing drills. Some of them are bent nearly in half... I don't buy federal anymore though, as I mentioned one of their cartridges likely caused my X-95 to spontaneously disassemble itself.
