I have loaded thousands of rounds in my MEC 9000 with that same load of 700X. They worked fine for me & any misses were not the fault of the gun or the ammunition.
Sorry if I derailed your thread. If the powder has a strong & bitter odour & if it is brown tinged from a rusted container then I would not use it. Better to use any suspect powder as a fertilizer rather than damage a good gun or the shooter.
