New posting policy for Badger
Products and our shop
In a month we will have been serving the public for 15 years.

We come to this site with happy go lucky attitude, happy to meet new people and suppliers.

Suppliers have been good for the most part, 1 has been excellent all the way, we too have to work around shipping miss haps and missed goods but they always make it right and thats all that matters at the end of the day. We order things and expect them to be on time but shipping ,trucking, boarders, weather and the human factor all play a role. If we knew just how many of any item would sell this would be great as we could prepare such as hard cases, or in the case of mags from China 5/30 or 5 rd with the CQA, we have no idea what is in the box for mags. Thats why we post 5 rd or 5/30 as this varries with each delivery.
Most people on this site are great, but the 1% make it hard on our staff and our positive look on some gun owners. Years ago when we started this shop we went to many other shop to see how they opperated. Some were rude , know it alls with attitude. I could not understand what I was seeing, over the years it has become clear! Rude ass holes, that make no mistakes in life and their job #####ing about anything they can ,can and will make any retailors-sales staff pissy. What, never went through a drive through and never got the fries you ordered? And they are the largest chain in the world! And if you went home and told all you buddies how you went back in the burger place and kicked and screamed, and badgered them over and over ,even after you were offered more then you pd for, I'm sure they would be proud of you!!! NOT! Get a life!!!

Some continue to ##### after they have got the goods missed in the order! Does this make any sense?
Members that start to ##### with new user names is bulls**t!
This should be stopped by CGN but is not!
We as dealers are free targets taking s**t from all sides as our real name is on our account, our add space!
CGN users get fake names, this makes them a little more chatty then they would normally be I'm sure.
From now on Badger Arms will delete all negitive posts from new users and all negitive posts from members without their real name on post, this way we can fix any problems that may be out standing! And know who we are hearing from.
We have a good following of great people to work with and these real gun nuts will always have our great prices to work with.
Welcome the other 99%

You should hire Alex Robinson to do your CS, sounds like he is already doing your PR. CGN members should be free to share their stories good and bad about dealers. Especially site sponsors. It helps us make informed choices. Sponsors come and go around here, deleting members posts or clamping down on freedom isn't going to help your business.

I tried posting this in the thread where Badger made the original post, but it was deleted ;)

Flame on.

Badger Arms is deleting any posts that are not positive for their company.. ie: all complaint threads/posts are deleted.

Let me be the first to say, you will never get my business. You should hire Alex Robinson to do your CS, sounds like he is already doing your PR.

Flame on.

Read the fine prints...

Deleting negative thread posted by "anonymous" individual.

Being the admin of a forum, I can tell you that there are a zillion ways to have fake accounts and post with them for the sole purpose of stirring up #### or when someone has a bone to pick but is too afraid to do it under his real name.

We even found one guy arguing with himself at some point... we found out the day he forgot to load up his proxy on his fake account or second computer he was using. We had a good laugh at that one.

Ya. That is fantastic, and you actually need to read the fine print... Why should people reveal their personal information in public posts?? Edited for your pleasure anyways...

all negitive posts from members without their real name on post

In all honesty, if I had some unknown joe from god knows where saying a bunch of negative things about the business I run as best as I can, I'd be pissed off if I could not do anything about it.

If you are scared to say your real name when you want to make a stand about something important to you, that says alot about how you think you are right about this issue.

If you have a bone to pick with someone, man up and call them directly.

This is why I dont see an issue with this at all.

That isn't what the man said...

Everytime we called "the dealer" about the pistol (paid for in November and not yet delivered in Jan) we were ignored or other wise pawned off. Wouldn't you like to know which dealer it was before you tried to make a purchase yourself?

I understand your high and mighty attitude, but people don't always post just to stir ####. Some of us have YOUR best interests at heart, even if you don't want to hear it.

i own a business you cant stop people bad mouthing you, try as hard as you want. if you are advertising your business on a forum like this your going to get negative posts. deal with them as best you can and move on. marstar has negative post almost weekly they are delt with and people move on, why not badger

There are dozens now who have had bad dealings with badger, as his email says, he makes sure the posts get deleted. Sure lots of people have had deals without a hitch, but many have had bad dealings with them, and cgners should be allowed to hear both the good and the bad. As someone already ststed, people badmouth john at marstar all the time, he deals with it.

English is not always someones first language. ;)

I have an idea, if you have a ##### to complain about call the store and make your problem known. Dont hide behind the screen, man up! Just curious, what is your problem with him? Did he wrong you personally?

His english was clear enough I think to everyone who read his post. My problem isn`t with him or his business, although he certainly has attracted plenty of negative attention. My problem is with people that businesses that try to silence the GP. People should be free to share their stories, good and bad, and people should be free to do research in order to make educated choices about what they buy, and where they shop.

You might not like this, for whatever reason, be it that you are a fanboy, or mabye you just want to ensure advertising revenues for this forum, but I am sure I am not alone in this thinking...

Oh....i see, so you have no direct vested interest in anything, but are posting just to stir the pot?

No fanboy here, thanks for the laugh though. :slap: This post of yours is just ridiculous.

BTW moved to badger forum.

Seems fishy to me to try to cover up what people have to say. I have no stake in how badger interacts with it's customers, but if anyone is deleting negative posts about their business dealings, I'm in NO hurry to buy from them over the net.

As a gun owner, and someone who buys stuff regularly from CGN sponsors as well as other businesses, my interest lies in helping other gun owners. I think allowing free discussion on customer service interactions is a good thing.

What if the posts are completely without basis? A lot of times all you get is "your company sucks" with no details. Often that comes from a new account with no history here. As a business owner would you allow those kind of unwarranted attacks from someone you can't even link the transaction to?

Some people have legit beefs as we all do with companies we deal with and I completely agree that kind of feedback is useful and serves as a warning to others. All too often though people jump to the forum and whine about their plight even before they have taken it up with the dealer.

Lets be adults on both sides folks.

Absolutely, for instance today someone was posting meaningless crap regarding the dealer. He/She wouldn't explain his actual complaint, and just reverted to spewing nonsense and insults. That is clearly counter productive, and irrelevant. But we are all smart enough to realize that, and the user was banned.

I don't think random attacks, insults, flaming etc. should be tolerated, but if someone has a bad deal, they should be free to share their story. No matter how negatively it paints the sponsor. Sometimes people are forced to come and post their stories as a last resort, when all avenues to resolve a situation with a sponsor have failed.

I agree. If someone has a legitimate beef, it is worthwhile to see how it's dealt with...If the complainer is a bad apple, I think most people will figure this out.

I agree with Ceska 100%.. badgers response makes me more likely to avoid badger. then the negative posts... Man Up your a man business man!! p.s I've here alot of bad thing about the way they do business.. can't all be BS..
