Absolutely, for instance today someone was posting meaningless crap regarding the dealer. He/She wouldn't explain his actual complaint, and just reverted to spewing nonsense and insults. That is clearly counter productive, and irrelevant. But we are all smart enough to realize that, and the user was banned.

actually , this newbie is on a 5 days time out , not banned.
 
If badger is that bad leave a trader rating, pissing and moaning here does not gain my respect at all. people shoot down Marstar and I have had sterling service there. Not every customer can be satisfied but at least it sounds like the effort is there from Badger.

I do not roam around defending dealers, there are 2 I would out right loose my marbles on, but this stuff has reached its limits in my opinion.
 
Seems fishy to me to try to cover up what people have to say. I have no stake in how badger interacts with it's customers, but if anyone is deleting negative posts about their business dealings, I'm in NO hurry to buy from them over the net.

Coupled with the fact several Emails have gone unanswered over the last couple months, and every time I call with a question I am told by the woman who answers to email and I will get a quick reply!!!!!!!! WTF?

With HST in place now I am having a harder time finding reasons to buy from anyone other than Lanz, and Ellwood Epps, thats for sure!
 
What if the posts are completely without basis? A lot of times all you get is "your company sucks" with no details. Often that comes from a new account with no history here. As a business owner would you allow those kind of unwarranted attacks from someone you can't even link the transaction to?

Some people have legit beefs as we all do with companies we deal with and I completely agree that kind of feedback is useful and serves as a warning to others. All too often though people jump to the forum and whine about their plight even before they have taken it up with the dealer.

Lets be adults on both sides folks.

Yep, I'm sure all these people are randomly making stuff up about 1 dealer.
 
I agree with Ceska 100%.. badgers response makes me more likely to avoid badger. then the negative posts... Man Up your a man business man!! p.s I've here alot of bad thing about the way they do business.. can't all be BS..

I agree, I have been in the retail business on and off and it is hard, you have to please your customers, they don't like it when things go bad and expect full attention.

If you can't handle it, do something else, I for sure will avoid a business which is bad mouthing customers. :owned:

Unfortunately leaving a well deserved poor rating will result in your receiving retaliatory hate rating back. That system is entirely flawed.

Agreed, the retaliatory negative feedback issue is a problem, and I'm sure many more negative feedbacks would be given if buyers weren't worried about having their trader ratings unfairly damaged.
 
So piss and moan publically but if you have an actual bad deal do not give negative feedback?? Come on grow a pair guys. I have had a couple deals start to go south so I pointed out that negative fedback was going to be drafted in 24hrs if this deal was not satisfied to both our liking. Well I have a 100% rating still and the other guys made the deals right. Work with the system you have in place or move on. Maybe Badger is not a good place to deal with, I have not dealt with him but i have 4 friends that have multiple times and little to no problem at all. I find it hard to believe a bunch of unknown people especially when they have next to no post count or just joined up.

Like i said there are 2 dealers I will never deal with but they have hosed friends on here and are even banned from CGN now. I do deal with a banned dealer on here, and have spent thousands with him with not even a hiccup. That one is a political issue though, people don't like his views but at least he is honest.

In the thread that was closed off, the same guy said I was calling the people who had negative experience liars, when all I did was relate my experience with the vendor.

If I was a retailer and supportting dealer I could just imagine the frustration of having to deal with members on this forum. Pay good money out of your pocket to keep a website running and so that internet Nancy's can run around gossiping and throwing you under the bus. Seriously guys he has addressed the problem of emails and phone calls and has admitted he can make a mistake. the freaking Guy is returning phone calls and email's till 11 at night. Give it up already. Go find a new source of blood to latch on to and drain until it ceals over and dies
 
Mabye you should just return to your vampire fantasies and leave the rest of us that want to have an intelligent grown up conversation alone.. ;)
 
I empathize with what Badger is saying, they have a good point. While I agree with people being free to state their opinions (good or bad) I recommend that it be done tastefully. Some people however are immature, and have no intention to make peace with the dealer.

Worth quoting.

When I bought my SVT-40 from them I got a call at midnight their time to confirm the order and give them my cc info. How many complainers out there are working that hard?

btw, it took just over 2 weeks for the SVT-40 to arrive, but it's beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Definitely worth the wait.
