So I was just looking around and I noticed the Badger Ordnance M5 BDM (Badger Detachable Magazine) System. Does anyone know if these are any good for a 700P, or if they are any good at all. I have a nice little 700P LTR in .223 and wouldn't mind having a box mag instead of a internal hinge floor plate deal.

CDI bottom metal is about half the price and does the same thing, you can get it from Juan Valdez here on cgn, he also has the badger system too if i remember correctly. He also has a slightly cheaper israeli bottom metal.

theres a bunch of them out there some say certain ones are better im on the same hunt but for my 5r .308, from what ive gathered as long as it uses AI mags you should be safe

If your Remington stock has factory BDL inletting, I think you will have to have the stock inletted for all the detachable mag systems mentioned. Please correct me if I'm wrong. My factory BDL inletted stock now wears Wyatt bottom metal with detachable mags and I really like it so far, and it did not require any extra inletting. I have only had it to the range twice, but so far they have worked with out a hitch. I got it from Juan Valdez at North Shore Barrels.
