Hello. Does anyone have any feedback on the Badger Ordnance NM op rod guide. I recently had a buddy bring one back from california for me.
It looks like a quality piece. fluted design.
I took apart my Polytech m305, and to my dismay, the factory spring will not slide over the guide.
Which spring should I purchase to rectify this ? I see that wolff gunsprings
can ship to Canada, but I would have to order 2 of them to meet minimum shipping requirements. Will it fit? what other options do I have?
thanks.
Dave

The Chinese springs are not made to USGI spec. and have a smaller ID. The Badger is made to fit USGI springs so it will not work with Norc springs. Wolff springs are made correctly and will fit the Badger op rod spring guide perfectly. You could also check out Brownells which sells Wolff springs as well as the stock Springfield M1A recoil spring.

BTW, the Badger op rod spring guide works great - I use it myself with Wolff and Springfield recoil springs.

I have USGI dimensioned springs that are 1.75" longer than the Norc/Poly spring, and this new spring will accomodate your Badger Ordnance Op Rod spring guide. Send me a PM. They are only $ 11 shipped to you.

Cheers,
Barney

Would it be better to use one of those USGI dimention springs you have Hungry or a Wolff extra power recoil spring?? Are those springs that come with their rifle service pack too strong / not useful for a norc?

I've never used the Wolff extra power spring pack... just USGI springs and Norc springs. They all work well...

Cheers,
Barney
Thank you very much for the offer Barney. After hearing that the Wolff spring worked well, I ordered 2 from Wolff directly. Had to buy 2 to meet minimum.. Now ill have a spare. Im interested to see how much difference the Op rod guide and spring make in accuracy.
