Baffin Island Caribou Hunt had a surprise for hunters

If I was gonna live/hunt up there I would definitely get back into sled dogs, just a small team maybe 5, they are a life saver in those part of the world.

I agree, but it is pretty common for Inuits to cook in there tents. We do to in the winter but no polar bears up here lol just sometime late denning grizz that can be even worst!!
 
There is a video taken just after they shot the bear showing the guys sitting up still in their sleeping bags staring at the bear.

The cousin that I mentioned to you a while back had grizz come through his tent up in Dawson... The cook was his bunkie & just the smell from his clothes made him smell like fast food. But the bear didn't count on the cook sleeping with a .44 magnum. The bear ended up with lead indigestion before anyone got hurt. I think the cousin got a new roommate and a 44 of his own the next season.
 
Were they charged for unsafe firearms storage? What about the misguided bear, did he deserve to die for a property crime? Yes I'm joking ;)
 
As much as I like tents, sometimes I feel like they're nothing but a tortilla... and I'm the filling. Good on these guys for being fast, with good aim.
