hey guys, I have a Baikal that's a few years old...only taken out about 5x. a month ago I went out to show some friends the Mission Rod & Gun range, shoot some trap/skeet and my safety jams (thank goodness my one friend brought his Bennelli!) in the safe position.
I totally forgot about the issue until today because we're going to the range again this weekend to shoot trap/skeet (if the whether holds) or at least my rimfires (if the weather doesn't hold).
it's a tank safety, has two stainless ball bearings that are pressure sensitive to lock it into safe or hot.
any thoughts as to why it may have jammed? I'm no gunsmith...hands full of thumbs, so I'm more likely to take it to Reliable or Italian than fix it myself, but perhaps it's something very simple and you can point me in the right direction?
