baikal 153 or 155?

There is indeed an embargo - so new Baikals are getting harder to find. I have an MP-153, its proven to be very reliable. Swing weight is a bit wonky, as the barrel is quite heavy. I understand the MP-155 has a lighter barrel. f memory serves the MP-155 cannot accept 3.5 in shells, but the MP-153 can. Don't know if that's a step forward? (3.5 in shell capability is not an important consideration for me)

No the 155 can handle 3.5
 
Forced a +2 Rem 870 tube on my 153 and now have a workhorse semi auto 8 shot capacity shotgun for 3 gun. Bought new at auction. Need to modify the bolt release button as it's quite firm to depress. Total investment so far around 550.

Are these firearms and parts no longer being brought into Canada ; I see where some dealers still have them listed . Maybe it is just old stock ?
