I have one of each in 45/70 & 30-06. Actually they are surprisingly well constructed. For an 'entry level' double rifle they are a cheap and fun distraction.
bear in mind that these s/s doubles were never intended to be long range firearms. Regulation of the barrels is finicky at best and at this cost level, little is done on the baikals save the adjustment screw installation.
restrict your expectation of grouping shots from the two barrels to 50-75 yds and you will be OK. You will drive yourself nuts trying to go beyond that.
The 45/70s are factory regulated?? with a 300gr bullet.
They are no merkels, krieghodds or the like, but then neither is the price.
