Baikal Drozd MP, rifled barrel?

That bb gun with the burst mode has a rifled barrel? rifle barrel + BBs = horrible accuracy. yes?

Maybe, maybe not, but who cares, just sweep it until you hit your target!!

Actually I have no idea if it affects accuracy, I did shoot a drozd and they are tons of fun to shoot. Someday I will get one for ####s and giggles and harassing starlings.

I have one I By the 177 cal lead BB's they have more energy when shooting gophers the cheaper steel BB's are great fun to tear apart tin cans . You can get the lead ones from beeman also gamo makes them .

Highly modified drozds have been done with higher rate of fire, longer barrel, hpa, hi-cap mags. Doing so will put it over 500fps and be classed as a full auto prohib.

I'm sure the gas going into the gun can be regulated to keep it under 500fps

russian sub gun(rifled) use lead BB's, smooth bore use any BB's that fit, accuracy sucks with pellets in a smooth bore.

The gun is rifled and set up to shoot lead round "BBs". It will function with steel BBs but they are not the best thing in a rifled gun.

I agree, steel's no good for rifling.

i have a drozd and it is great fun.

it can be modded for full auto but i like 600rpm 6rd bursts best.

its not real accurate even with a longer barrel. just straffe the target
the barrels are not rifled....dont know if that would be good with BB's.

i have witnessed a drozd shooting 900fps with minimal mods.

it is a blast. just needs higher mag capacity.
