Was thinking of picking up a single shot in .223 for plinking and was considering the baikal.

Does anyone have experience with these single shot rifles?
How is the quality and what kind of accuracy are you getting?

I haven't fired one, but have looked at them. For $100 more I'd go with the stevens 200, better for range shooting anyway, and easier to put a scope on.

I don't have one. But hear people saying they are accurate. It has a Mannlicher style barrel.

Being break action, it is good for left and right hand shooters.

Can't go wrong with the price. They are known to be very reliable.
