Baikal IZH single shot rifles?

At the end, the 7.62x54R was $199. If they are like the shotgun that is the right price. Someone paying $700 has too little regard for money.
 
I think in today’s market you could get 400 bucks but that is asking a lot. I’ve seen ones listed at more go on the e.e. A fool and his money are soon parted…
 
Well... my brother sure liked it. Now he wants a relatively new production gun in 7.62x54r that takes down to fit in a backpack. I’ve looked all over the Canada adds and can’t find anything. Do you guys know of any for sale?

A guy on here had a tc encore barrel in 308 reamed out to a 308 bore 7.62x54r by epps so the have a reamer.

I bet if you put a wtb up offering 700 dollars you can find him a baikal of his own!
 
So it seems that there are zero new production ‘take down’ rifles in 7x62x54r for sale in all of Canada. You think 400 is a fair price but paying 700 to get something I want is foolish and means I have ‘little regard for money’... even though it was the only one for sale in the entire country...
It’s been quite awhile since 300 dollars meant that much to my pocket book... but hey... times ARE getting tough out there...
 
Whatever helps you sleep at night, yours is far from the only Baikal in the country but I bet it’s the only one someone paid 700 dollars for

I can’t find any Haenel Jagers in 8x57r online; should be appropriate to list mine for 7 grand right? It will be the only one for sale in the country and it’s only a ~3x markup. Interested? Should be nothing to a big spender like you? Only problem is you won’t be able to find one for your brother
