Baikal MP-153 Issues with 3.5" shells

I'm glad you got it sorted out....hope it's permanent eh. but yeah mine does this everytime. It's only with 3 1/2 inchers, all 2 3\4 and 3 inch cycle perfectly. I'm almost positive it's not a cleaning issue as I have taken it down many times and tried different approaches to oiling before re-assembly. Sometimes lightly oiled after using "crud cutter" on all internals and piston sleeve and then sometimes a little more oil than usual just to see. Same results either way. I make sure the mag tube is always cleaned and oiled inside to make sure theres nothing gummed up in there to slow down the shells travel from the mag. Cleaning gas ports and all the regular hiding spots lol. I wanna love this gun but right now it has me reachin for my old worn trusty 870. Maybe I was meant to be a pump man eh lol. Not sure what else to try,but thanks for listening and givin it a thought. Thanks again.

Have you gone through your break in period yet? (100 rounds) Not sure if this matters for 3.5s or not. Go to the Baikal Canada Website and contact them directly. Should get a reply.

Hey C68, I'd have to say it's broken in it's been used quite abit and on it's third duck/goose season. Maybe I'll try contacting Bakail directly to see what they say. If it possibly needs a new action spring{the one over the mag tube}do you think any problem gettin my hands on one from those guys? Thanks

My friend lost his bolt from his mp153 no problem getting the part from baikal Canada direct because we don't have a Baikal dealer in Medicine Hat but you should have no problems getting the part.

Lost the bolt!!!? Not sure how that happened but I bet there's an interesting story to go along with that lol. Lets hear it Dez, must be a good one.
