Just got my baikal O/U in 20 ga. These have sure come around in looks and feel compared to a few years ago.

Beautiful Shotgun!

I friend has an older one in 12ga. He's got a weak firing pin in one barrel. 1 in 10 times it doesn't go bang and only makes a light firing pin mark. I think it needs to be cleaned in the receiver. how do I take it apart to clean it?

Remove the recoil pad and then the large screw inside the stock, and the inner mechanism will be exposed. Clean well with a degreaser spray, then oil LIGHTLY. Should help. If it has been well used it may require new pins or springs.
