Iam thinking of buying a Baikal SXS 45-70 how many members here have them ? I would like to hear any feedback good or bad. I have owned many and still have one of their sxs shotguns and found them a bit stiff but extremely reliable, is this the case with the double rifles???

They're stiff. Triggers are rough. They handle just like a shotgun sxs. I love mine. It's a double rifle for less then a grand and u won't cry if u scratch it. The regulation works great. My gun has vertical spreading with anything over 1600fps but when I keep the loads to 1500fps or less I can put 2 from each barrel into 2" group at 50 yards. I loaded 350gr Hornady fn to 1850fps. One barrel was right on at 50 the other right on at 125 yards. With my 405gr its perfect at 50 yards. I have 2.5x20 scope on mine as the sights are crappy
I just order one from P&D, under 800.00 so if its as good as their sxs shotguns I will be happy. It will be my eight 45-70 in the safe. I have hundreds of 525 grain hard cast and It would be nice if it will shoot both barrels at once by pulling both triggers.
