i have also felt, while playing with viking mp 446 polymer version of 2009 & 2010 that the polymer used in 2009 make seemed to be of inferior quality if compared with the viking mp 446 2010 , as the model 2009 is lighter than 2010 plus the double action trigger of 2010 make is also far better than that of viking 2009 .......... wat about 2011 make ? has it retained the quality of 2010 or improved or even recourse to poor 2009 model, tea pot

wud u plz tell me some thing about myth of 90 degree angle chamber . it is said that the chamber of baikal mp446 viking is the very same chamber as hold by yarigin pya & viking does not have a 90 degree chamber, and it is also described in vinzer sports u tube footage that viking has a military grade chamber, where as, in my opinion, the chamber of yarigin pya is not 90 degree chamber, so far as i have observed in the stills/ pics of yarigin pya available in the link given in the second post of thread. in those pics the chamber of yarigin pya does not appear to resembling with the chamber of viking mp 446???????????????

these Vikings that we are importing same as PYa. I can't tell anything about others.

Do you have any pictures, facts that would show the difference in quality? Sorry, but feelings doesn't count ;) there is no difference in quality between 2009-2011 production years.

wat a video,............ we wanted to view the chamber from from upper side just to see which degree chamber it is , we shall be grateful if u share some. hope not bothering u too much

The barrel length should be 112 mm per the catalog I picked up.

I can't wait to try mine. In my experience, former East Bloc/Russian pistols are the best bang for the buck bar none.
which version do u have, zuperman, steel or polymer? i think the steel version has a bit longer barrel than polymer

and wats the barrel length of ur steel version and polymer version. thanks

I intend on buying the steel framed version when they arrive---they both apparently have 113mm barrels.

We have in stock both polymer and metal frame models. In addition new shipment of Vikings has arrived today and currently clearing customs. They all with 113 mm barrels. Vikings are available with 120 mm barrels as well but we haven't ordered them...

u r too cooperative tea pot , me & my colleagues who aspire to buy ur vikings do appreciate it . thanks, actually we intend to see the corners of chamber just ahead the chamber indicator, i think these corners are sloped and do not have the sharp angle, we just want to see whether they have sloped or sharp angled corners , ........ and plz also do tell us the significance or meaning of a digit ( presumably 3 or 8 , cant say for sure is it is not clear) visible ahead of rear sights . please forgive us if we r bothering u alot .

:eek::confused:

Old gun? new gun? original magazine? damaged mag lips? is your gun barrel has feeding path like the one on the picture? may I anyhow help you to fix the problem?

chamber.jpg

Original mags, no damage. I had it for a number of years (at least 4). The feed is the same as on the picture (I considered it kinda funny, but it designed after mags).

Anyway, it doesn't eject case well enough and case gets stuck between top of the slide and barrel. It's not mag. I played around with various ammo too, but I guess I should try 9+ or +9+ to see if it is one of my suspects.

I have 2 suspects:
1) Return spring is too strong.
2) Combination of the ejector on top and "case holder" at the bottom on the slide.

Other than that, Viking is a cool gun.
