There are 2 representatives of Baikal products in Canada Armrus.com the original and Baikalcanada.com who openned a few months ago.
I have delt with Armrus since they openned I consider them friends now. The others baikalcanada.com they never answer any of my emails that should give you an idea of thier service.
Unfortunately as far as I know no one has the MP 161K in Canada yet, since it is still in PREPRODUCTION STAGEs. I do not think anyone will have it in Canada for a while still.
There was a bit of chatter about the MP161K on the European boards. Try googling MP161K that should generate some interesting hits for you.

My issues with Baikal so far have been obtaining rifles in calibres outside the same old same old, namely .223 Rem, .308 and 30-06.
The Aussie distributors Parabellum Pty Ltd have apparently made some attempt to get the more unusual chamberings into the country but I haven't heard anything from them in months.
Has anyone in Canada had any luck scoring calibres like 5.6x50R Magnum, 7x57R, 7x65R, 7.62x54R, 8x57JRS, 9x53R or 9.3x74R in the IZH-18M single shot rifle?

I did not think anyone outside Armrus and Baikal Canada was importing Baikal products. I have not come accross any rifles chambered for the more exotic calibers. Let us hope that we get some

Parabellum Imports Pty Ltd are an Australian company located in Melbourne and they only import here.jwillmoore said:

But no, they don't import stuff into Canada.
As for the exotic European cals it's time European companies started giving people different options instead of just answering the demand for 30-06 and the like.
That said I'm not holding my breath.
