Balester-Molina

Am I the only one on this board that owns/shoots a Balester-Molina? I have a total of $500 (US) in this pistol and it shoots like a dream. Regards, Richard

I picked up one of the Colt made 1927's for $250 here a couple years ago, it needed a new barrel but that was an easy fix.
I'd love one of the Malester's but they aren't that common here.

What Hitzy said... not all that common here on the west coast either. When you do encounter one, in any reasonable shape, you'll find you can usually pick up a real-deal 1911A-1 for similar cost. More likely to encounter an Argentine Sistema 1911A-1 that a B-M pistol in these parts, too.
