anyone here have any first hand knowledge of these barrels? I was thinking about an 18" for an SPR upper i'm building. The price is nice too. Input?

yeah I love SGW, however they are sold out of anything 18".......another site sponsor has them in stock. I just dont want to drop cash on one if its crap.

Phil at CTCS just got my 18" Ballistic advantage premium series .223 Wylde barrel in. Check their website to see if there's any extras. At 300 bucks you can't go wrong everything I've read about the BA barrels is very positive. Over half the cost of an over priced noveske barrel...food for thought.

Looks like you're in luck mate. I also ordered their NIB carrier and low profile gas block to keep things all to one manufacturer for those bits.

Thanks guys......I actually came across a good deal on an Anderson Manufacturing 18" barrel yesterday so it looks like ive made my decision. haha
