Ballistic Plates Incoming

Steel Level III+ Shooters Cut
Weight: 3.5kg
Size: 25x30cm
Price per Plate: 49.99

Wow. What a price.

The price of these plates is in our opinion absolutely fantastic. If they hold up to all our testing we think you all deserve to have ballistic protection without having to sell off one of your kidneys.

Sadly these plates are coming to us without a brand, however we are making it a point that for every eleven plates we bring in we will test one to make sure that they are of a quality we would be comfortable trusting our lives to not to mention selling to all of you.

"Trusting our lives to"

So your testing includes clay for back face deficit or are you just shooting it and think that because it doesn't go through it's safe?

Is there anything that we can do to convince you on the quality of the plates. We are more than willing to do whatever it takes to prove their quality. If you could give us some suggestions on how we might go about our testing to make you feel more comfortable please let us know.

Yes,

Disclose the manufacturer

Sorry but with out knowing that and being able to look into the company itself, Its not worth it. There are too many unknowns for something that is meant to prevent high velocity metal from entering my meat sack.

Date of manufacture?
Actually NIJ certified?
Long term longevity?
Quality of materials?
Has this company actually made armor before?
Has that previous armor worked?
Who conducted the testing to achieve the NIJ rating?
etc etc etc

^^^^^^^^all questions s&j refused to answer or provide info on....I went to the EE and got what I wanted new for same price for same plates only with all pertinent information!
These plates sound good at a good price we just need to know they are legitimate...I’d jump at that point!
When you get side plates and have answers to questions you should put a package together.....
Plates(front.back.sides and carrier) ......that I would buy!!

Make sure you test the outer fringes as well. I know compass plates are good to go, but some of the other overseas manufacturers only insert a small amount of te hardstuff and doesnt even come to within 2 inches or so of the edges so the actual coverage is a fraction of the the overall size of the plate.

Show some tests, and alot of people would be more at ease.

We will make sure to test the edges as well as the center of the plate.

We are currently contacting the distributor to gather all of this information. We will add the information once we have it to the first post in this thread.

We will post the information once we have it. The main point we are looking for right now is at the price point, if they do hold up to testing, would these be something that the Canadian market would be interested in.

I would be interested in the Lvl IV Silicon Carbide ceramic plates provide they pass the testing and what others have asked. I might also be interested in some cheap steel as well.

What would be the timeline for these to be available?
