Ballistics App.

Not sure exactly where to put this and I had a little look around and could not find anything on it. I like to use JBM ballistics to compare and play with possible bullets and such. I went on the other day and it seems we are now unable to use this.
My question is what does everyone use for an online tool to check out and investigate ballistics that is free?

I still use Strelok Pro but I can no longer get updates and I'm sure my days of using it are numbered.

I just started using GeoBallistics as a back up and I'm quite impressed by it.

If you are on Android, Strelok can be purchased via Huawei marketplace. It's only banned on Google store.

It's longer available on Huawei either as a new purchase. I can still update it. I'm hoping I can transfer it from one android phone to another phone when I upgrade eventually.

For mobile devices the Leica ap is a pretty good free one.

The Leica ap is based on Applied Ballistics (and is somewhat easier to use than Applied Ballistics own ap)

The free version gives solutions to 800m and an AB+ upgrade is available if you need to go farther.

It is too bad about JBM. I miss the stability calculator the most 😔

I ran across the same problem when I upgraded the iPhone. They do have a back door transfer, for iPhone anyways, so I’m sure android as well when you upgrade the phone. As long as you already have the app you can transfer it.
I use mine on a regular basis, so would have a hard time moving to a different app.

Thanks for this, have used the AB quantum (didn’t like it as much) but will try the Leica.
 
I use a very simple app called "Bullet Drop" hardly sophisticated, but it works well for quick and dirty calculations.

you need all 3 apks Strelok.apk Strelok.split_config.en.apk Strelok.split_config.###hdpi.apk (replace the 3 # with 3 x)
the install is not difficult but not straightforward either
soon enough regular users won't be able to sideload apps any more because google doesn't want you to

That's weird and pointless because IMO the entire point of a smartphone ballistic app is to be able to run it offline.

I'm pretty sure Bullet Drop Pro works offline. I'd maybe try GeoBallistics as well.
