just bought one of these today for $120. just wondering are there any known problems with these air rifles besides being made in china?

i took 2 quick shots earlyer today and it seems to have ok accuracy, very oily and filled with grease but that never hurt no one did it

cal is .177

Yes, the most apparent problem is that you get this itch to mod it, or saw the barrel in half which results in some gruesome monstrosities being made.

well the only mod i was going to do was find an old blued AK mag and weld it to the gun body to make it look better, but other then that its going to stay as is.

I bought a used b3 with a cut barrel, it wasn't even crowned but it was the most accurate springer i've ever owned and it fit so well in my backpack....i'm thinking of getting a new one and hacking it up myself :D

My friends and I all have one, and I just sold a brand new one to a member here. We were just thinking of dropping spot weld to hold the rail in place, we also gave the things a once over tightening as a few things were loose (keep and eye on the pin at the front of the sock on the receiver) and yes it came very greasy also. Other then that they are amazing air rifles, real powerful and they look cool as hell. Enjoy.

Cheers,
Evan

where can you get these?

Bought one of those years ago in .22 cal.
Shot thousands of pellets through it, hunted squirrels and gophers with it.

My only complaint is that the scope rail sucks. Had to re-drill and re-tap the bolt at the back because it stripped out really easy.

I bought one at the CO-OP when they were closing out of that model. Kind of an impulse buy, but I put it to work shooting gophers off of my tractor at work while mowing grass. It's no tack driver, but hammers the crap out of gophers and galvanized steel garbage cans. The folding stock made it nice to lug around, and I always thought a guy should cut off an AK mag and attach it in the right place.

Mmarvin is selling the version with a mag on CAF. It hs a clip inside the mag for multiple pellets.
