If you cant generate an alert via a system thats already been put in place then you probably aren't going to be able to oversee / direct helicopters too well either.

I imagine it went something like this:

"Hey John, what did you say in that amber alert? Did you mention they are armed and might be dressed as a cop?"

"Huh, amber alert?! I thought you were taking care of that - I did Twitter!"

I've seen a few people mention grandfathering. You are missing something. They can only grandfather the lowers. You can't be grandfathered for a prohibited device.

That's kind of an integral part of the gun though, might be different.

Also, gun laws don't follow any logic or consistency. I can see them being scum bags on this thing.

No, it isnt. A barrel attached to a 12.6.1 handgun is just a part of a prohibited firearm. On its OWN, when REMOVED from the firearm, it is a prohibited device. This was done so that barrels removed from handguns which were rebarreled to a restricted handgun length would not be legal to circulate in public.

Never mind the fact that some of the prohib handguns are semi autos with easily removed barrels for disassembly.

Correct. Liberals never concern themselves with learning anything about firearms or past policy failures when coming up with this stuff.

Until the existing technical legal issues are addressed no future law has anu hope of being sensible. They are just piling garbage on top of garbage.
