Banned Rimfires

22LR Assault Rifles!.....

Imagine how much money our Liberal government could save in military costs?........if they issued these banned/prohibited 22lr assualt weapons (way cheaper than a C7) to the Canadian Forces ! ....and all the ammo cost savings too!!!

Stupid government...take that as you will.
 
Rimefire line was crossed a long time ago with the OIC. They banned the pos mossber 715T, MP 22 etc. FFS, even the UK allows the M&P22
 
Guys-if it's not on the list, it's only because they weren't aware of it. Wise to inform yourselves and everything, but make no mistake=the Liberals want them all, and an end to private gun ownership entirely. The pace at which this is unfolding should be an alarming wake-up call. Look back on the last 2 years alone, starting with the May.2020 OIC. This most recent amendment to C-21 adds hundreds of guns, including the Ruger #1, which is a f**king falling-block, SINGLE SHOT! In spite of that, JUST yesterday, our dictator-admiring trust fund boy LITERALLY stood up and trotted out that same talking point, the only guns they're targeting are "assault weapons designed to kill the greatest number of people in the shortest amount of time"

You literally can't believe a word coming out of their mouths.
 
Just wait, the 10/22 will be next...

It seems that anything with "Ruger" stamped on it is on the Sh!t-list.

To be fair, falling blocks were pretty revolutionary when they were first introduced and used by militaries. Same with all our bolt action hunting rifles, they were originally designed for military use, and as a faster way to kill enemy soldiers than the older single shot rifles. Pretty much every type of gun ever invented was hoped for by the inventor to be adopted by a military so that they could profit from the design. It doesn't matter that it was over a century ago, they will all be banned. We need to stop trying to carve out an ever smaller list of guns that we want to stop them from banning, and demand that they respect our rights as "free" citizens to own anything we want or can afford.

I see the EE (at least the rimfire EE) now has a growing population of guns that are on "the list". Lots of GSG's, even a belt fed Vindicator has magically appeared for sale. Some people are like rats getting off a sinking ship..

If the proposed legislation fails (fingers crossed here), they'll disappear like fog on a warm summer day.
 
Owning a firearm and using them in the bush for hunting or plinking and RCMP or CO happen to come by. I bet we all will be guilty before proven innocent and said firearm will be confiscated just because they can and no one understands the rules if this C21 is approved. This to me is the scariest part of this whole thing. If it repeats you’re in trouble.

Let’s hope there is some reason and thought out there from authorities! I know mine have been collecting too much dust these days. Makes me sad!

All those scary black 22’s are all in trouble from what I read.
 
Went thru the over 300 page shyte list; fortunately my new toy (Mossberg Blaze)
was not amongst the banned rocket launchers and belt feds. :dancingbanana:

Now to find a range to test this plastic rifle's abilities; plus that of my Model 94 30-30 & Rem. 870 Express

I bought an STG44 when I first saw C71 announced in what, 2018?, the week before the Calgary gun show, saw the STG down there, said that was the perfect GFY gun, no way they'd miss that. Yup, it's on there now, surprised it took this long. It is a straight up replica, even though there is nothing interchangeable, it is all about looks.
