Bar 30-06

My experience with the Browning BAR rifles has been excellent. I've owned one each in .30-06, 300 Win Mag and 338 Win Mag. All were reliable and shot very well.

I've never had one, but you don't really hear anyone complain that they aren't accurate enough for hunting, and you do hear them usually described as reliable. Especially compared to Remington's semi-autos.

I own a BAR lightweight in 30-06. I dunno why the call it a light weight as it weighs the same or more as other BAR rifles, except it has the fixed sights.

I shoots very well and looks nice too. Almost too nice for bush work. Never had a stove pipe yet and very reliable. Almost as reliable as my M14 (I am not fond of the magazine reloading process in the BAR). :)
