Howdy gentlemen. I've recently come into owning a new Browning BAR mk3 in 30-06. I took it to the range today and was met with some pretty abysmal results.
Shooting from a rest at 100m my best group was a hair under 3 inches. Average group was probably about 5". Worst was 7". I tried shooting 147 geco, 150gr sako, 180gr sako, Remington, herters, federal. Nothing shot well or consistently. Everything had lots of vertical stringing as well.
While I'm not expecting sub moa accuracy from the thing, this seems pretty terrible. Has anyone else experienced this? Figured I'd ask around here before calling Browning directly.
