I'm not personaly interested in Action Figures. But this collection would make a sweet addition to any military man cave. I collect model aircraft as well as milsurps. But i have to admit. this stuff is pretty cool! you can tell the folks who made them did some serious research. i'm sure some of you will find errors. but still very interesting.

enjoy.

:weird::puke:

the polite thing to do is to keep this weird pedo s**t in the closet where it belongs. thanks.

wow! calling this collection as something pertaining to ###ual attraction to children. I figured you people might be able to look past the "Doll" factor and appreciate the research and attention to detail that went into them. i guess some of you need to evolve a little.

Are these supposed to represent actual people? I'm assuming the uniforms are accurate, they sure appear quite detailed.

Time to educate the great unwashed. A lot of serious military historians and military history buffs collect these historically accurate figures. The manufacturers spend months researching the uniforms and gear down the last detail. The weapons are made from metal and wood and in many cases field strip just like the real deal. These are not anything like your GI Joe crap, from the 70's, and yes they will put a boot up that sissy Ken's ass!

I have a bunch and just ordered this guy:

Major Richard Winters, 101st Airborne Division, 506 PIR E-Company

Not a Barbie!

Had a look at these figures, they are extremely well made and seem accurate. If I had the money and space I would definately be a collector.

I know they are not barbies

and yes they are works of art in thier own right

I Just couldn't resist being a smart ass

Seriously if anyone is interested in making one with their head and face take a look here

I was considering getting one for an associate but it would only fuel his meglomania

Wouldn't really call them action figures. Have a number of Brit ones, and they make a good display at a show alongside the rifles. (Don't have the space or the money to buy a full sized mannikan to display the uniform collection.)

"...Action Figures..." Marketing term for boy's dolls.
"...this guy..." Damian Lewis as Maj. Winters doll. Damian Lewis looks nothing like #### Winters did in 1944.
"Jennifer" would get yelled at for that much non-issue 'war paint'. Unless she's a General Officer's, um, special assistant.

It's really absurd that most of the comment on this thread are whether or not they are dolls, action figures or models.

my view....

Dolls: Take Capt. Winters and put him in a dress, have tea with him, dance with him, snuggle with him while you watch Band of Brothers, and maybe add some hair and braid it.

Action Figure: Set up a pile of Germans in the garden, drop Capt. Winters off the roof with his chute on. point his miniature Garand at the Germans making machine gun noises. kick the germans down. and say something bad ass for him.

Models: Do what these guys do with them

I'd get a whole bunch of german ones and stomp on them while making monster noises!

"RRrrraaaaagghhhh!! Rrrroooooarr!!!"

"Aaiieeee mein kaptain!!"

"Ze weapons ist useless!"

Do they make little jeeps and stuff for them like the old GI Joes had?

My oldest brother had the gemeni capsule and my other brother had a helicopter.

I got a jeep for Christmas one year. It could hold 2 guys and you could jack it up and fix flat tires and stuff.

Maybe we could all get one. I remember when we moved to Ft McMurray, we had a big dirt pile in the back yard and all the neighbourhood kids brought over their GI Joes and we made a big fort for them out of the dirt pile.
