Bare Bones Moose Hunt

Bow saw

Don't forget a bow saw with a spare blade. If you could dig up one of the collapsible jobs that breaks down to fit into one of it's own handles and comes with a separate meat/bone blade, that's be deadly. :DSomething to grab pots off of the fire with. Mountain Equipment Co-op sells an awesome aluminum grabber handle that weighs next to nothing and allows you to take all of the handles off the pots you'll be cooking with. One thing I always bring lots of.... ADVIL. Especially if you're going to be roughing it like that. By the last few days of the trip you'll be happy to have something to take the soreness out of your legs and backs. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Cheers, Stef

A hammer and some nails always come in handy when building a camp. Just booked my flights yesterday and started making my list, too. Can't wait for the end of September!
