Hi all
i have a Baretta Al390 which I love. It's accurate, light, well balanced, eats even the cheapest light target loads without a hiccup, and is downright ###y.
My one qualm with the gun is the sound that the cycling of the action makes when i have it shouldered. It is a loud metallic clanking which is louder then the report of the shell itself. I shoot traps so I hear it alot in a day
My question: is there an effective way to dampen the action sound? I already have a soft recoil pad...would a cheek pad help?
I'm really leaning towards getting a break action o/o but would love to keep this one.
Any advice appreciated
