Barrel is 26" 8:1 twist ... The barrel was on another Barnard S and I need to check the headspace after I torque it to 40 ft.lbs...but it looks like it is going to be OK.
Definitely a nice stock. I have never used a CG trigger, but at first blush, it seems comparable to a Jewell.
Stock came part of a "package" deal, but $1100.00 would be pretty close..it had been "gently" used. The stock included the bedded Barnard v-block to accept the S recoil spigot. Also included were was the 3 way adjustable butt plate, friction adjustable cheek piece, and trigger guard.

I thought the comparison to the Jewell was a compliment as they are pretty good! Yes, I will be happy with the CG, and may even buy another one if I can get the right hanger for another Barnard.

A reloading issue may come to light particularily in cold weather with 6.5x47. If you notice any sort of delay between the click and the bang, or if your velocity is not stable or changes significantly from day to day, it might be the small primer used in the native 6.5x47 Lapua case.
Dont be afraid to test large primers using 22-250 as the parent case. Just open up the neck to 6.5 then run it through your sizing die and length trim. The case will sort of mushroom just a bit below the shoulder from the sizing but not to worry. Once you fire it once with a mild load it will blow out to fit the chamber. After that you can compare large primer performance to small primer performance.
10 to 1 odds your velocity will stabalize using these large primer cases.
Other than the above, this is a fantastic cartridge in both 6.5x47 and 6x47.
If you like the large primers, it's easier to start with 6XC brass than 22-250 though if you can get it. You dont get the mushrooming below the shoulder because the shoulder is shorter on 6XC than 22-250.
