Is it true that they put a bottom safety on these actions? then call it a Rem clone..I for one only stick my finger in the trigger guard to pull the trigger.
Have people been moving them to the top or just dealing with it??

I guess,,it just seems funny that the advertising is that they are a straight drop in ..but they aren't..nor are they a Rem clone.

It would seem that North America is the only place where repeaters are expected to have safeties, especially on custom rifles. Some Barnard repeaters have been fitted with bottom safety triggers and for quite a while now Barnard offers their repeaters with the tang notched for the usual top safety. As to being a drop into a 700 stock, not exactly, just like a 700 clone. The hole spacing is the same and the bolt is in the same position although a different shape. Do not expect to use a 700 mag system with the same pillar heights as a 700 either because it is not a 700. If you need pillar heights email me as I have fitted most of them, Badger, HS, Seekins, etc. It is similar in external specs to a 700 but that is about all, and that's okay, excellent action!
