Barnes Ammo with IVI brass

My "GUESS" is that the brass was indeed made by IVI, or whomever makes that now. But the complete head-stamp is not same as military NATO - so is no real reason to believe that ".223 Rem" by IVI, is same as 5.56 IVI NATO stuff. It might be - it might not be - would almost have to weigh a sampling of each, or compare water volume, to know if they are the same or not.
 


This is older IVI before they started with their HK routine of "you suck and we hate you", not the Barnes stuff that diemaco posted.

A quick and dirty weighing on a kitchen scale puts it at 7g, same as 3 random issue IVI cases that have been de-capped.
