barnes LRX in 07/08

just ordered a forbes in 07/08. looking for a place to start for bullets and powders. like the bc of the lrx in 145gr. have heard they need a 1in9 twist barrel. anyone have any comments on the bullet in 7mm and if you think it will work in the forbes rifle. if not gimme your recommendations for a bullet and powder.

I own a browning 7mm wsm and love the tsx for a hunting bullet. the forbes will be a mountain rifle for sheep and I want to be able to hunt out to3 or 400yrds and hopefully at the range even longer.

H4350 is your accuracy powder for 7-08.

9 twist barrel isn't necessary until you start getting into heavier projectiles, 160 or so and better.

145gr will work with no issues in factory twists of 9 1/4 or 9 1/8 , or whatever the common ones are now.

I have had best results with varget in my 7-08. H4350 was good too, not quite as accurate for me but could use some more load development. This was with 140 accubonds and 139 gmx.
