Ok well maybe not NEEDED but I'm curious as to what the book says for 300gr TSX using H4895 in 375 H&H as their website does not list this loading. Anyone able to help me out with this?

Also as a curiosity point, does anyone know why Banded solid loadings use more powder than a TSX in a given weight? I was trying to cross reference the bullets and it seems like there is about a 4-5% powder charge difference between the two.

H4895 - 61.0grs min - 67.0grs Max - 300gr Barnes TSX FB

H4895 - 64.5grs min - 71.5grs max - 300gr Barnes solids

From Barnes manual #4

Different bullet material makeup gives you different coefficient of friction in the barrels, hence different load data and bullet speeds.

From the Barnes Data sticky at the top of this forum. This is data from the #4 Manual. It's not the complete data from the manual but it's better than no manual. Definitely worth the bookmark!

300gr Solid
64.5gr Min 72.5 gr Max

300gr TSX
61.0gr Min 67.0gr Max

Damn. Didn't notice the sticky...guess I kind of just skip down to the new threads all the time. I'm curious though as to why they have the full manual listed on their website but all I found was this one with limited data through normal navigation to load data.

Have the other one bookmarked now so thanks!
