Barnes MR"X" Bullets

Went into a smaller gun store in Belleville on the weekend, see some MR X bullets 150 gr for the 270 $42 for the box so I bought it. Well damn it only has 20 bullets in it. Hope they are worth the investment. Any one try them??

nope the price is too scary, considering a TSX will shoot probably just as accurate (for hunting uses) and perform just as well on game, and they are $45 for 50 bullets

With any luck at all you wont like them and will never be tempted to buy them again. If you really really like them, you might have a problem. The good news is that 20 probably isn't enough to form a good opinion. They are still cheaper than the 380 gr .375 Rhino's I get from the RSA. The bad news for me is that I really like the Rhinos.

I wouldn't waste my time with the MRX. Like Todd said the TSX are just as good and less expensive and with the new TTSX, the MRX will most likely fade away.
