Do I need to know anything about loading these 130grn in a 30/06?

Any starting load with h4350 or h4320?

Pure copper bullets - do I need to worry much about coppper fouling?

...neat looking bullets

I have the new Barnes manual and they don't show either of your powder choices, most that they show have a quicker burn rate.

The TSX bullets don't seem to foul much worse than any other bullets, and are certainly not as bad as the original X-Bullets. I wouldn't worry about fouling too much.

if you start a few grains below a load for a regular 130 gr bullet (hornady or speer) and work up slowly to max, you should be safe. 130 gr TTSX would be a good bullet for deer sized game in 30-06

What do they show in that manual for powders?
Whats the start charge?

I just finished loading a bunch of 130 gr TSX for my nephew's new .30/06. While I used 4895, 4350 can be used for a broad range of applications and I'm sure you can work up a good load by starting with 57 grs and working up from there.

The new #4 Barnes manual sucks as far as load data goes, so if you can find an older #3 manual grab it. It doesn't have TSX data, but you won't get into trouble using X bullet data, although I would be hesitant to use XLC data for an uncoated bullet, even if it is banded.

With regards to fouling, TSX's seem to foul less than X bullets at the same velocity. Having said that, fouling is dependent on the smoothness of your bore. An over night cleaning with Wipe Out should resolve any fouling issues, but you should start with a clean bore and clean every 50 rounds or so to minimize cleaning time.

I find fouling with the tsx and mrx to be no more than with nosler ,sierra or hornady bullets. In other words,it isn't an issue in my rifles.
