Howdy, just started to load up some TSX 160g for my new 7mm rem. C.O.L recommended is 3.290, but at that spec, the ribs of the TSX are exposed?? Is that ok? Seems if I matched OAL to some factory ammo, it would not expose the ribs? (3.167) Also, would anyone have a recipe for the TSX 160g using H4350.
Thanx, cheers.

Exposed ribs are not a problem and ofter end up being exporsed. Play with the lenght that works best in you rifle (mag lenght, best accuracy) and don't worry about the ribs.

The Barnes book for 7mm Rem only shows a recipe for the 150 gr TSX with IMR 4350. using from 52.5 up to 58.5 grains max

For the 160 grain TSX they list recipes using different powders..IMR 4831, etc

I read on another hunting forum (not supposed to link other forums sorry) that a guy was loading the 7mm Rem 160 TSX's with 56 grains of the 4350
