Barnes TTSX 150gr 308 and moose

Ya, lots of Rhetoric from bullet companies for sure. I do like Accubonds at longer ranges but for whatever reason, I'm not a partition fan....never have been.

I've recovered several TSX, TTSX and GMX....enough to know how they perform under a variety of circumstances anyhow.

great read everyone, lets keep it cool ...

individual preference over whats expected, good to see an great to know they make a bullet for everyone ;)

cheers

sheephunter were you picked on as a kid?i dont even remember the original question after reading through all this garbage, ttx, ttsx they will KILL anything you point them at

I've recovered two Barnes bullets to date - a 130 grain .277 TSX and a 110 grain .308 TTSX. The TSX went over 2ft through a blacktail, from front chest to rear hip socket, losing one petal in the process. The TTSX went through a good-sized black bear (quartering away), entrance was through the right ribcage and the bullet lodged in the offside left front shoulder socket. The TTSX lost two petals, but lost them on impact with the socket (the two petals were next to the bullet). Both bullets turned everything between the entrance and their resting place into red jello.
