Looking for ideas on loads for Barnes ttsx in .308. I'll be using the 150 grainers, Norma cases and varget. How much are you guys down loading these? Also anyone know what the difference is between the ttsx and the new Lrx? The Lrx 175 is crazy long but im thinking I might not be able to drive it fast enough with a .308.

Between the 165 TTSX vs. The 150 TTSX, the 150 g pills was the suggested choice of many, including John Barsness, for a .308 and moose. I asked for advice on the "gunwriters" forum on the 24hourcampfire site. Why the 150? These bullets need to be driven fast.

Well I normally shoot 175s out of my 308 at around 2760fps. I know your supposed to drive the ttsx pretty hard so I figured I'd go down to the 150(which is actually about the same length as a 175 mk) because I know I can get a 155 mk close to 3000fps.
