Barrels & slides are not restricted parts. You could send them to Magna-Port USA.

Actually, those parts are on the ITAR list and you could be in serious doodoo if you just sent it off to the USA! Outside of using a gunsmith in Canada, your best bet if you go south is to take your gun with you and have it worked on while you are there. Again, you must bring it back with you on the same trip. You would also need the USA authorization before you hit the border. So, really try to find a shop in Canada. You might ask Wolverine Supplies if they could recommend a shop.
 
The guy in Manitoba is long gone for magnaport ,Magnaport US is just on other side of border from Sarnia, get a form six from US Alchohol, tobacco and firearms ,set up your Ontario ATT and st it up with Magnaport and get it done:)
