These are last years' prices for Green Mountain Barrel blanks from Bits of Pieces out in BC. Yes, they are unprofiled. You get a "thick walled pipe with an inner threading" and you have to figure out the rest yourself.

At those prices, I can afford to spend a bit of time at it and come up with what I need.

Standard Internet problem. Ask how to cook chicken and some joker comes along telling me I should want steak.

If I want to spend what the other guy is charging, I may just as well have the whole shot and get a Smith barrel put on.
