Barrel break-in?

So far my barrel break in for my new norinco has been....


take out- shoot 15-20 rounds of corrosive ammo to check function. rinse rifle + barrel in simple green and dry off with compressor.

leave in safe for a month without cleaning barrel.


im assuming there are better ways to do this...ideas folks?

Barrel break in with a chromed bore?
Don't worry about it. Shoot it.
Have you inspected your rifle in the month since the Simple Green/air compressor cleaning?

After cleaning spray inside out with a good oil... JP.
