Barrel Cleaning - Boresnake

I use those little finger condoms to cover the muzzle. Got a pack of 100 for like 4 dollars on Amazon. Oh and also I’ve never used a bore snake. Don’t see the benefit to them. Faster maybe? I like taking my time with cleaning.

Just shot 600 yards with a taped muzzle. Three minutes ago. Do whatever you want with your muzzle I could care less. But it has zero effect on your accuracy. Why I would shoot regularly from a bench with it is beyond me, but if you are out of doors hunting it’s not a bad idea. People can whine all they want about it but I have zero interest in collecting crap in my bore. Zero.

Exactly Chuck! RJ

I looked long and hard at SG and that particular pack. I ended up going with the new’ish Kuiu Pro Suspension and an older Ultra 3000 & Ultra 5500 for my needs. If I could find an older, Ultra, Icon/Pro or a newer Pro in 1850ci sized bag I’d be a happy guy..

Tok - ffs ? Have you never seen a nice lightweight screw together aluminum rod ? I have one that I keep in my pack ! BUT as I always tape or use TALARIK or BORE TEX muzzle covers I have never used it . :p

Rather obvious NO one’s packing a 1 piece rod out hunting !

My comment was only that it’s gonna be phucking hard to push any obstruction out of a rifle barrel with a rope ! f:P:

Cheers RJ

FFS... or you could work on not falling down...that is a neat trick too. 1st indication of dementia and/or old age is loss of balance.
I think I'm OK yet.
You can carry around whatever you would like RJ... I work on woodcraft skills myself. Like not falling down while walking...

Some of us go through some pretty challenging terrain during our hunts. It can also be raining or snowing hard.

As you would like... get a walker...I'm not judging. RJ too.
I have some bushy stuff too...but I manage to stay 'Right Side up'
Rains, snows and the wind blows...maybe go for a regular walk...seems to work really good for me & mine.

That’s the issue. We are hunting. Not going for regular walks.

Why should any one's hunting have to be inferior or superior to anyone else's? That was the point. Don't really need the put down to the make a point that doesn't really need to be made in the first place. Especially after it was claimed it didn't really matter what anyone else did. Which it certainly doesn't. Does it?

Well Tok Guy had to be a sarcastic ####### all I ever said was it’s hard to push #### of a barrel with a rope and he just started running his mouth ! f:P: RJ

Well RJ thats the beauty of the ignore feature here on Nutz. Beautiful Ram Pathfinder, Obviously anyone who hasnt slipped or fallen while hunting is either full of ####E or huntin from a vehicle Id guess. Oh squirrels in the bird feeder in the back yard dont really count as hunting. Back to Wild Tv I suspect for the other two morons.
