so im getting very frustrated with my 8mm turk mauser project!!!

so i did all my measurements and boyds says the mauser large ring variation of their stocks will fit my rifle.

then i find out (just before i hit "order") that the only stock they offer that is finished is contoured for the ED Shaw #1 barrel !!!!:mad:

i can get the same stock for my millitary barrel but its unfinished and by the time i get it prepped and finished the stock will cost me almost $50 more than the finished one!!!!

argh!!!!!!!!!!!!! my question to everyone is if i buy the stock with the ED shaw contour and mount my millitary barrel in it will it be F'd up or not fit at all?

or will it be ok?

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS NOT NEGATIVE FEEDBACK OR BASHING BOYDS!!!, THEY HAVE BEEN MORE THAN SUPPORTIVE WITH MY INQUIRES

Sounds like you should just drop off this Pesky Turk at my house... ;)

You would probably have to bed your barreled action to the stock if it is made for a Shaw... Do you any pics of the whole rifle?
 
i called them and they cut me a deal on shipping so i ordered the unfinished millitary cut stock...only time will tell

Desert--what part of Leduc are you in? maybe i know you haha
